With over 100 years of growth, Lowe’s, the home improvement retailer with more than 2,000 stores in North America is no stranger to organizational change. The massive retailer embarked on an HCM digital transformation journey to enable its vision of bridging the gap between traditional retail and the evolving needs and demands of their growing business.

Lowe’s timely business demands required a solution that could be plugged into their legacy system that allowed their recruitment and HR teams to achieve operational excellence with minimal manual work.

The challenge was developing a solution at scale to meet unprecedented hiring needs of over 100,000 candidates in a month without massively increasing recruitment costs. The metrics of success we focused on included speed, quality candidates, quality experience, and reduced costs.

In partnership with Paradox AI, Intrizen helped integrate an artificial intelligence chatbot that allowed for more efficient screening of candidates, scheduling of interviews, follow ups and more. We reduced the time between candidate application and interview scheduling from 3-5 days down to 15 minutes.

The automated system helped manage more than 1 million candidate interactions and facilitated over 100k hires in a single month, increasing recruitment capacity by 700,000+ hours over the course of the year.
